Mi Cocina in Highland

I remember when this restaurant was in a small location on Church Street in East Highland, walking distance from our house. That is how long I have been a customer. I moved out of CA a few years ago but when I come back home, I always visit Mi Cocina! The food and service is excellent. The new building is beautiful, but it's food and service that grabs my attention.

Food is good authentic Mexican season The only think is the tortillas is upon request and when you requested it they take forever to bring them..

Authentic Mexican food done well. This place is a hidden gem in Highland right near the St B's Urgent Care. They have a full bar with good Happy Hour prices and specials on appetizers. A new favorite of ours!

Food is ok everything else was great, nice atmosphere good service. A little pricey for what you get.

This spot simply knows how to satisfy their clients. Constantly with a very friendly mindset. The food is conveniently priced, regularly yummy and clean.

Great outside dining experience during indoor dining closure.Full menu, full bar. Food was good and our waitress was great.

The food really isn't that spectacular.The chips and salsa are good. The chili verde had way too much pepper in it. The rice wasn't good at all. I definitely won't be coming back here.

Mi Cocina is a gem in the Inland Empire. The service is always beyond expectations and second to none. I have tried many different items and none disappoint. I recommend this place for parties small to large.

Had a very pleasant first experience at this restaurant. Funny, but my first observation was how clean it appeared and smelled clean too. Our server was very attentive and very nice. Food was a little pricey but was very satisfied with portions and really tasty.

This place is Authentic Mexican Cuisine. And they're serving time beats all. They even have take out, & drive thru, walk in and eat. Plus the Best chips and salsa while you wait.... It has a beautiful scenery at dusk....

We love this place! The food is always amazing you never have to wait long for your food the wait staff is always polite. We have never had to return our food or complain about food or service. We have been coming here for 10 years and it's never disappointed us!

The service and food were outstanding again, even with changes due to dietary restrictions. We had a short wait for a Friday night last minute choice of place to eat. It was busy, but it didn't seem long and once seated servers began their ballet of attention with chips, drinks and our order taken. Appetizer came after we demolished the first bowl of chips, and then our main course shortly thereafter. Very tasty. We of course will be back again. 🤗

A nice place for tasty food and margaritas! Super busy on Sunday mornings and early afternoons usually. Chips and salsa is REALLY good! Will be going back soon.

Mangonadas are delish

I have been eating at this place since my family moved to the area back in 1998. They have always treated us like family and we love them so much my Wedding reception was held here. Food is always excellent and service is always on point and the staff is always friendly. The location and decor is beautiful. The tacos are to die for, I have ate every plate in my tenure here so I always have a hard decision to make on what to order. Don't kid yourself folks this is the real deal here

We come here regularly, and it is an excellent experience every time. We love how fast and friendly the service is, and love the food as well. They never hesitate to bring more chips which is always a win in my book. Definitely will be visiting here more frequently. Living in So-Cal, we eat A LOT of Mexican food and Mi Covina is our go-to spot. It’s almost always busy but the food is good and still gets out fairly quickly. If I ever get back to California I'll visit here again. Good food, good prices, great chips & salsa.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is not the place. The food was extremely salty. Any little taqueria would have better food than this spot.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how their customer service is always excellent and they keep the place clean all the time. Prices are reasonable and they serve big portions.

The BEST Mexican restaurant in Highland . The staff are really good. The food is top notch & the margaritas and long island ice teas are my Sister-in-law & my go-to drinks.

That place has awesome food

Customer service was good, smiles all around and received a complimentary mother's day Champaign (and since my daughter is pregnant she received a piece of flan). The food is okay, a bit too much of the sauce on the food (sauce tastes like the canned sauce), it took the look and the taste away. We had the tamale plate, sope plate, taco burrito, Chile relleno plate and the camarones al mojo de ajo (warning sauce for camarones is super spicy!!). I'm not saying it was bad, but just okay. We paid approx $15 per plate.

The minute you walk in is welcomeing. The service was fantastic, food is excellent, especially try their guacamole it's to die for. Have to give a huge shout out our server, Mel (Melissa), thank you so much for such fantastic service.

Good food, good service good ambient

First visit. We dined in while observing social distancing. The chips and dip were served. The dipping sauce's flavor was the best we've had. I ordered chili rellano- it was pretty good, and large serving sizes. Michelle ordered the Carnitas plate; She says," pretty good" . I am sure we will return; I have to try their Chilli Verde. Pretty upscale as far as Mexican restaurants go. Great service.

Happened to be in the Highland area & wanted to eat dinner before driving back home an hour away. Found this restaurant on Google & glad we stopped in! The atmosphere, food, employees & service was great. We will definitely be back when we return for a future visit in this area!

Food and help was great. Tonight Wednesday was Mariachi music night live. And it was great. We had a blast.

The staff is the kindest, most efficient, respectable, on point ppl I've ever been served by.. thank u.. and the food?! Well my family now expects that kind of quality at home!! Delicious!!!
